MORE ABOUT THIS ITEM These general-purpose analog stirring hot plates are designed for performance and safety. The space-saving design takes up less space on the bench or in storage. Powerful magnets and motor support speeds up to 2000 rpm and large volume mixing. All models include an integral fitting for attaching a support rod. Stirring hot plates (04805-26 & -28, 04807-12 & -14) have either coated aluminum for quick heat-up times and optimal temperature uniformity or cool-edged glass ceramic that is chemically resistant. Hot top plate warning light will flash when the temperature is above 50°C, even when the hot plate power is off (up to 30 minutes duration without power).
